PadelPit sits on the TSV München-Großhadern grounds at Heiglhofstraße 25, and the venue is not pretending to be a hall. Three outdoor courts, built for outdoor padel, with short walks between them and nothing much else around the fence. That is the product: a west-Munich session that you book on Playtomic and play in the weather you get.
Hours are tighter than Casa. Weekdays 08:00 to 20:00, Saturday 09:00 to 20:00, and Sunday 09:00–12:00 then 15:00–19:00 on the venue's own site — a lunch gap Playtomic's weekend grid does not spell out, so the day you book is the one to read. Student and pupil discounts exist after a check at the desk. There is no published roof, so November is a gamble the same way Tucherpark is.
Getting there
Heiglhofstraße 25, 81377 München — Großhadern, U6 Klinikum Großhadern is the nearest rail. Parking is on the TSV lot. This is the west-side option when Johanneskirchen is a cross-city ride.
Running a session here
PadelPit has 3 courts, and a 60-minute booking is the slot to plan around. That fixes almost everything else about the evening.
- Bring 12 to 16 players. 12 is everyone on court every round; past that you are running a sit-out queue, which is fine but somebody has to track it.
- Expect about 6 rounds once you take out warm-up and changeovers — play each to 21 points so every court finishes together and the scores stay comparable.
- At 16 players, 4 people sit out each round. 3 courts tops out at 16 players before the sit-out queue is longer than the court time.
Formats that fit
- Americano a full rotation at 12 players is 11 rounds and the booking holds 6, so you play a slice of it. Fine for an evening, but the standings are a snapshot rather than a complete table.
- Mexicano re-pairs by the standings each round, so the games stay close. 6 rounds is enough for the table to mean something.
- King of the Court winners move up a court, losers move down. Works from 6 rounds on 3 courts.
| Courts | Everyone plays | Up to |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | 4 | 5 |
| 2 | 8 | 10 |
| 3 | 12 | 16 |
Three courts is twelve players on court and a ceiling of sixteen. A sixty-minute booking at twelve is six rounds to 21 — a Mexicano snapshot, not a finished Americano. Two hours if you want the table to settle.
Have an indoor fallback (Johanneskirchen or Frankfurter Ring) before you send the WhatsApp. Outdoor and unroofed is the whole listing.
Common questions
- How many courts does PadelPit have?
- Three outdoor courts on the TSV Großhadern grounds. The venue's own site and the Playtomic grid agree.
- When is it open on Sunday?
- The venue prints 09:00–12:00 and 15:00–19:00. Playtomic shows a flatter 09:00–20:00 weekend grid — check the day you book rather than assuming a continuous afternoon.
- Is it indoors?
- No. Three outdoor courts. Rain and a November evening are a reason to book Johanneskirchen or Frankfurter Ring instead.
