Johanneskirchen is Casa Padel's second Munich hall, not a wing of the Pineapple Park. Six indoor panorama courts sit in the Alte Theaterfabrik at Musenbergstraße 40, Bogenhausen, and they are the reason to come out here instead of Donnersbergerbrücke: every court has a roof, the hall opens at 06:00 and the last hour starts at midnight, and a booking in January is the same booking as one in July. The venue's own page puts the floor at €38 an hour; the network FAQ still says from €32, so the app on the day you book is the figure that gets divided.

Two house facts change how you arrive. There are no showers and no changing rooms until the renovation finishes — toilets only, and the venue says so on both casapadel.de and Playtomic. And the door is a keypad: a four-digit code plus hash arrives with the confirmation, because staff are not always in the hall. Rackets come from a kiosk to the right of the entrance, card only, €4 for up to four hours.

Getting there

Musenbergstraße 40, 81929 München-Bogenhausen — Johanneskirchen, not Neuhausen. S8 to Johanneskirchen is the rail stop; free parking is on the factory lot. This is the northeast fallback when the Paketposthalle is full, not a walk from the Hauptbahnhof.

Running a session here

Casa Padel Johanneskirchen has 6 courts, and a 60-minute booking is the slot to plan around. That fixes almost everything else about the evening.

  • Bring 24 to 32 players. 24 is everyone on court every round; past that you are running a sit-out queue, which is fine but somebody has to track it.
  • Expect about 6 rounds once you take out warm-up and changeovers — play each to 21 points so every court finishes together and the scores stay comparable.
  • At 32 players, 8 people sit out each round. 6 courts tops out at 32 players before the sit-out queue is longer than the court time.

Formats that fit

  • Americano a full rotation at 24 players is 23 rounds and the booking holds 6, so you play a slice of it. Fine for an evening, but the standings are a snapshot rather than a complete table.
  • Mexicano re-pairs by the standings each round, so the games stay close. 6 rounds is enough for the table to mean something.
  • King of the Court needs about 12 rounds to climb 6 courts, and the booking gives 6.

If you book fewer courts

Six courts is twenty-four players on court and a ceiling around thirty-two. A sixty-minute booking at twenty-four is six rounds to 21, which is a Mexicano evening rather than a finished Americano table.

Tell the group there is nowhere to change or shower. That is the one fact people arriving from work will be angry about if they hear it at the keypad. WhatsApp +49 89 200045590 is the hall line; cancellations still have to go through Playtomic.
