PadelCity's own description of this site is "compact", and that is fair: two indoor courts on artificial turf in a hall off the Frankfurter Ring, with no restaurant, no terrace and nothing to look at. What it has is a door that is open 07:00 to 23:30 every day of the year, holidays included, and a roof — which in a city whose largest site is ten outdoor courts on a building plot is a specific and useful thing to be.
The operator ran a second Munich site at the OEZ until the end of October 2025 and closed it, moving that traffic here for bad weather and to Tucherpark for good. If you played at the OEZ and are looking for it, this is where it went. Booking is exclusively through the PadelCity app, paid by PayPal, card, Apple Pay or Google Pay; there is no Playtomic listing to fall back on.
Getting there
North Munich, between Milbertshofen and the Frankfurter Ring, close to the U2 and the ring road itself. It is a hall in an industrial patch rather than a park — you come to play and you leave.
Running a session here
PadelCity München Frankfurter Ring has 2 courts, and a 60-minute booking is the slot to plan around. That fixes almost everything else about the evening.
- Bring 8 to 10 players. 8 is everyone on court every round; past that you are running a sit-out queue, which is fine but somebody has to track it.
- Expect about 6 rounds once you take out warm-up and changeovers — play each to 21 points so every court finishes together and the scores stay comparable.
- At 10 players, 2 people sit out each round. 2 courts tops out at 10 players before the sit-out queue is longer than the court time.
Formats that fit
- Americano a full rotation at 8 players is 7 rounds and the booking holds 6, so you play a slice of it. Fine for an evening, but the standings are a snapshot rather than a complete table.
- Mexicano re-pairs by the standings each round, so the games stay close. 6 rounds is enough for the table to mean something.
- King of the Court winners move up a court, losers move down. Works from 4 rounds on 2 courts.
| Courts | Everyone plays | Up to |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | 4 | 5 |
| 2 | 8 | 10 |
Two courts is eight players, and at eight a full Americano rotation is seven rounds — which an hour covers at 16 points a round, but not at 21. Book the hour, set the target at 16 before the first serve, and the group leaves with a finished table.
€40 before 16:00 against €46 after is €5 to €6 for the whole court, so per player the peak surcharge is under two euros. This is one of the few Munich venues where the evening slot is worth simply taking.
