Four panoramic indoor courts under an eight-metre ceiling, four outdoor courts with a terrace looking onto them, three clay tennis courts still in use, and a clubhouse with a bar between the two halves. Padel Seasons is what happens when a tennis centre from the 1970s is converted rather than replaced: the indoor courts opened in May 2024, the outdoor four a year later, and the tennis stayed because there were players for it.

It is run by Nicole Jüttner and Tomas Nydahl, a Swede who was ATP world number 72 and beat Muster, Haas and Henman on the way, which shows in the coaching and the venue league rather than in the prices. The operational detail that sets this venue apart is the indoor booking window: 06:00 to 02:00, daily. Nowhere else in Munich sells a padel court at one in the morning.

Getting there

S2 to Allach, or bus 164 to Servetstraße, in the north-west of the city; there is free parking on site. Allach is a long way from the centre and a short way from Karlsfeld and Dachau, so this venue makes most sense for a group living out that side.

Running a session here

Padel Seasons has 8 courts, and a 90-minute booking is the slot to plan around. That fixes almost everything else about the evening.

  • Bring 32 to 42 players. 32 is everyone on court every round; past that you are running a sit-out queue, which is fine but somebody has to track it.
  • Expect about 6 rounds once you take out warm-up and changeovers — play each to 32 points so every court finishes together and the scores stay comparable.
  • At 42 players, 10 people sit out each round. 8 courts tops out at 42 players before the sit-out queue is longer than the court time.

Formats that fit

  • Americano a full rotation at 32 players is 31 rounds and the booking holds 6, so you play a slice of it. Fine for an evening, but the standings are a snapshot rather than a complete table.
  • Mexicano re-pairs by the standings each round, so the games stay close. 6 rounds is enough for the table to mean something.
  • King of the Court needs about 16 rounds to climb 8 courts, and the booking gives 6.

If you book fewer courts

Eight courts is thirty-two players on court and a ceiling around forty-two, and the four-and-four split is what to plan around: an all-indoor session for sixteen in winter, or the whole eight in summer with the terrace as the place people sit out. At thirty-two players an Americano rotation is thirty-one rounds against the six a 90-minute booking holds, so run a Mexicano and set the target once for all eight courts.

The clubhouse opens at 14:00 Monday to Thursday. A 12:00 session on a Tuesday is a session with no bar, which changes what you tell people to expect.

Common questions
