wePADL opened in Pondok Indah in February 2025 and has run at around ninety per cent occupancy ever since; its cofounder Okie Imanto says the lowest month was eighty-seven. That is the Jakarta padel market in one number, and it explains why this venue's most interesting feature is not a facility but an opening time.
Courts run to midnight every day and to three in the morning on Friday and Saturday. The 22:00 to 24:00 window is priced at Rp250.000 against a standard Rp425.000, so the late session is both available and cheaper — which in a city where every reasonable slot is gone weeks ahead is a genuinely useful combination.
Four courts: three semi-indoor and one outdoor. Reviewers are consistent and worth heeding — the covered courts play well and the outdoor one, which costs more, draws complaints about an uneven surface. The coaching gets praised repeatedly. There is a café and bar, showers and parking, and the location near the MRT stations makes it one of the few South Jakarta venues a group can reach without everybody driving.
Getting there
Jl. Terogong Raya in Cilandak Barat, on the Pondok Indah side, close to the MRT line — which for a session that ends at three in the morning is worth checking against the last train, since it will have gone.
Running a session here
wePADL Pondok Indah has 4 courts, and a 60-minute booking is the slot to plan around. That fixes almost everything else about the evening.
- Bring 16 to 21 players. 16 is everyone on court every round; past that you are running a sit-out queue, which is fine but somebody has to track it.
- Expect about 6 rounds once you take out warm-up and changeovers — play each to 21 points so every court finishes together and the scores stay comparable.
- At 21 players, 5 people sit out each round. 4 courts tops out at 21 players before the sit-out queue is longer than the court time.
Formats that fit
- Americano a full rotation at 16 players is 15 rounds and the booking holds 6, so you play a slice of it. Fine for an evening, but the standings are a snapshot rather than a complete table.
- Mexicano re-pairs by the standings each round, so the games stay close. 6 rounds is enough for the table to mean something.
- King of the Court needs about 8 rounds to climb 4 courts, and the booking gives 6.
| Courts | Everyone plays | Up to |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | 4 | 5 |
| 2 | 8 | 10 |
| 3 | 12 | 16 |
| 4 | 16 | 21 |
Four courts is sixteen players on court and a ceiling of twenty-one. Sixteen is the number where everyone plays every round.
At sixteen an Americano needs fifteen rounds and an hour gives eight at 16 points; two hours gives eighteen and finishes the rotation. In the late window two hours costs Rp500.000 a court against Rp850.000 at the standard rate — the cheapest complete Americano for sixteen people in South Jakarta.
The late-night slot is how you get a court at all at short notice. Every organiser in this city is fighting for the same 18:00 to 21:00 window; almost nobody is fighting for 22:30.
If you are booking the outdoor court, book it knowingly. It is the more expensive one and the one reviewers say plays worst, and on four courts you can simply not use it — a group of twelve on the three covered courts is a better session than sixteen across all four.
Book well ahead for anything at a normal hour. Ninety per cent occupancy is not a figure that leaves room for a change of plan.
Common questions
- How late is wePADL open?
- Until midnight every day, and until three in the morning on Friday and Saturday. The 22:00 to 24:00 window is priced at Rp250.000 an hour against the standard Rp425.000.
- How many courts are there, and are they covered?
- Four: three semi-indoor and one outdoor. Reviewers rate the covered courts higher — the outdoor court costs more and has drawn complaints about surface unevenness.
- How hard is it to get a slot?
- The venue has run at 87 to 90 per cent occupancy since opening in February 2025. Book well in advance for evening slots; the late-night window is the realistic option at short notice.
