Air Padel's whole proposition is in the name. Three indoor courts on blue turf, fully air-conditioned throughout, in a white-and-blue room in Cilandak — and it was the first venue in Jakarta to do it. Reviewers pick it for exactly that reason, particularly for daytime sessions where every other venue is a negotiation with the heat. One honest caveat from a mid-2026 review: it can still run warm during a busy evening, so do not over-promise your group a cold room.
Two policies make this venue different from its neighbours, and both need to be understood before you organise anything. There is no in-house coaching programme and outside coaches are explicitly banned, so if a lesson was part of your plan, this is the wrong venue. And the published rates cover regular play only: a tournament with a backdrop, a brand activation, an open booth, or any promotional photo or video shoot is excluded and has to be quoted separately by management. A friendly Americano with a sponsor banner is, by the venue's own definition, a different product at a different price.
The rulebook is the longest of any venue here — non-refundable and non-reschedulable, no pets, no alcohol, itemised damage penalties for spitting or throwing a racket at the glass, and a closing line stating that all Air Padel policies are absolute and cannot be contested. Read it as information rather than hostility: this is a venue that knows exactly what it will and will not do.
Around the courts there is a semi-outdoor cafe with hanging bulbs, a restaurant, a pro shop, equipment rental, lockers, Wi-Fi, hot showers, a musholla, a large car park and a smoking area.
Getting there
Jl. Pangeran Antasari No.20 in Cilandak Barat, on a main South Jakarta artery with a big car park. One practical warning from a recent review: the U-turn directly in front of the venue is unusable, so anyone arriving from the Andara direction has a long detour through traffic. Tell people which way to approach.
Running a session here
Air Padel Jakarta has 3 courts, and a 60-minute booking is the slot to plan around. That fixes almost everything else about the evening.
- Bring 12 to 16 players. 12 is everyone on court every round; past that you are running a sit-out queue, which is fine but somebody has to track it.
- Expect about 6 rounds once you take out warm-up and changeovers — play each to 21 points so every court finishes together and the scores stay comparable.
- At 16 players, 4 people sit out each round. 3 courts tops out at 16 players before the sit-out queue is longer than the court time.
Formats that fit
- Americano a full rotation at 12 players is 11 rounds and the booking holds 6, so you play a slice of it. Fine for an evening, but the standings are a snapshot rather than a complete table.
- Mexicano re-pairs by the standings each round, so the games stay close. 6 rounds is enough for the table to mean something.
- King of the Court winners move up a court, losers move down. Works from 6 rounds on 3 courts.
| Courts | Everyone plays | Up to |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | 4 | 5 |
| 2 | 8 | 10 |
| 3 | 12 | 16 |
Three courts is twelve players on court and a ceiling of sixteen, with four resting each round at the top.
At twelve an Americano needs eleven rounds and an hour gives eight at 16 points. Ninety minutes gives thirteen and completes the rotation — book the longer slot if you want a winner.
King of the Court fits inside the hour: six rounds needed on three courts against the six an hour gives at 21 points.
The air conditioning is what you are paying for, so use it on the hours nobody else can. A one o'clock session here is comfortable; a one o'clock session at almost any other Jakarta venue is an endurance event.
If your event has a banner, a booth, a brand or a photographer, get it quoted first. The venue states plainly that published rates do not cover it, and finding that out on the day is worse than asking.
No outside coaches and no in-house programme. This is a venue for a group that already knows how to play.
Common questions
- Is Air Padel actually air-conditioned?
- Yes — three indoor courts on blue turf, fully air-conditioned, and it was the first indoor air-conditioned padel venue in Jakarta. Reviewers note it can still feel warm on a busy evening.
- Can we bring a coach, or run a tournament?
- No outside coaches — the ban is explicit and there is no in-house programme. Tournaments with a backdrop, brand activations and promotional shoots are excluded from published rates and must be quoted separately by management.
- What does it cost?
- Local guides put peak rates around Rp660.000 an hour per court. Ayo's 'from' figure has been seen anywhere between Rp190.000 and Rp500.000 within the same day — treat it as a live promotional floor rather than a rate. Bookings cannot be refunded or rescheduled.
