Sunrise Padel has three semi-indoor courts in the Sunrise Garden estate in Kedoya Utara — named rather than numbered, as Sunrise, Garden and Sky. Semi-indoor is the venue's own word and it is honest: a February 2026 reviewer notes it gets warm inside, so this is cover from rain and sun rather than air conditioning. A review from the same period mentions courts having been added again, so the count may already be higher than three.
What makes it worth knowing about is that dogs are welcome, and unusually the venue has thought it through rather than just saying yes. Diapers are compulsory anywhere on site, leads are compulsory and letting a dog off is not allowed, dogs are banned from the court area even when nobody is playing on it, owners must clean up after them with a Rp500.000 fine for not doing so, and aggressive dogs are refused. If you have been looking for a venue where a Saturday morning session does not mean leaving the dog at home, this is the one.
The court rules are strict in ways that affect a session directly. Non-marking shoes and proper sportswear are compulsory and you will not be allowed on without them. More than ten minutes late without calling ahead and the slot is forfeit. No outside coaches, no personal ball baskets, no ball machines, a maximum of five tubes or fifteen balls, and a maximum of eight players per court.
One naming trap: there is a second, separate Sunrise Padel in Permata Hijau, South Jakarta. Check which one you are booking. And being inside a housing estate is what makes the February 2026 residential-zone cap relevant here — the published close is 22:00, the city's rule for residential zones is 20:00, so confirm a late slot rather than assuming it.
Getting there
Jl. Surya Wahana 3J No.10 in Kedoya Utara, inside the Sunrise Garden estate in West Jakarta. Some listings place it in Kedoya Selatan instead — same estate, and navigating to the venue name works better than the street. Parking is inside the complex.
Running a session here
Sunrise Padel has 3 courts, and a 60-minute booking is the slot to plan around. That fixes almost everything else about the evening.
- Bring 12 to 16 players. 12 is everyone on court every round; past that you are running a sit-out queue, which is fine but somebody has to track it.
- Expect about 6 rounds once you take out warm-up and changeovers — play each to 21 points so every court finishes together and the scores stay comparable.
- At 16 players, 4 people sit out each round. 3 courts tops out at 16 players before the sit-out queue is longer than the court time.
Formats that fit
- Americano a full rotation at 12 players is 11 rounds and the booking holds 6, so you play a slice of it. Fine for an evening, but the standings are a snapshot rather than a complete table.
- Mexicano re-pairs by the standings each round, so the games stay close. 6 rounds is enough for the table to mean something.
- King of the Court winners move up a court, losers move down. Works from 6 rounds on 3 courts.
| Courts | Everyone plays | Up to |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | 4 | 5 |
| 2 | 8 | 10 |
| 3 | 12 | 16 |
Three courts is twelve players on court and a ceiling of sixteen, with four resting each round at the top — and the venue's own maximum of eight players per court is well above anything a rotation this size needs.
At twelve an Americano needs eleven rounds and an hour gives eight at 16 points. Two hours gives eighteen and finishes it, which at Rp340.000 a court is Rp2.040.000 across three courts, or Rp170.000 a head.
Confirm the rate before you quote a per-head figure. Rp340.000 an hour is what the Indonesian guides report, but the venue publishes no card of its own, and Ayo's Rp100.000 floor is a promotional slot rather than a rate you can plan three courts around.
Fifteen balls maximum, and no bringing a basket or a machine. For a twelve-person social session that is plenty; for a coaching-style drill session it is not, and the venue does not allow an outside coach anyway.
Ten minutes late without a call and the booking is gone. With a group, nominate one person to ring the venue rather than assuming whoever arrives first will.
If anyone in your group is bringing a dog, send them the policy. Diapers and a lead are compulsory, dogs cannot go on court at all, and there is a Rp500.000 fine for mess.
Common questions
- How much does Sunrise Padel cost?
- The rate reported by Indonesian guides is Rp340.000 an hour per court. The venue publishes no rate card of its own, and Ayo's much lower 'from' figure is a promotional floor — confirm the price for your slot before quoting a per-head number.
- Can I bring a dog?
- Yes, and it is one of very few Jakarta padel venues that allows it. Dogs must wear a diaper and stay on a lead, are banned from the court area even when unused, and owners must clean up — there is a Rp500.000 fine. Aggressive dogs are refused.
- What are the court rules?
- Full payment on reservation, and more than ten minutes late without confirming forfeits the slot. Non-marking shoes and sportswear are compulsory. No outside coaches, no ball baskets or machines, five tubes or fifteen balls maximum, and a maximum of eight players per court.
