Republic Padel Simprug is where Indonesia's national padel team trains. Timnas Padel Indonesia ran its FIP Asia Cup 2025 camp here and the PBPI national selection was held here too, which is a harder credential than any facility list and explains most of what the venue has built around its seven courts.

The recovery side is genuinely unusual: a sauna, an ice bath, and since June 2026 an NK Physiotherapy clinic on site doing clinical physio, sports-injury rehab, sports massage, assisted stretching and dry needling. No other venue in this city has all three. There is also a pro shop at the entrance selling rackets, shoes, balls and kit, a cafe and restaurant, hot showers, a musholla, changing rooms with lockers, a social area that converts into a press-conference space, and — a small thing that tells you who the venue is built for — a phone charging point at every court.

Two rules matter more than usual here. The venue does not supply balls: bring your own or buy them at the pro shop, and non-coaching sessions are asked to use a maximum of eight balls per court. And outside coaches are banned outright — coaching is the venue's own contracted coaches only. Pets are welcome, in diapers.

Booking is through Ayo at Rp450.000 a session, discounted from Rp500.000. Ignore any lower figure you see on a listing page: Ayo's floor moves hourly and has been observed as low as Rp170.000, which is a promotional slot rather than the rate.

Getting there

Jl. Simprug Garden in Grogol Selatan, Kebayoran Lama, close to Senayan. Sources disagree on the house number — the Blok V, No.8 form has the most independent support, and Ayo's own page says No.1 7. It is inside the Simprug Garden estate, which is why the February 2026 residential-hours cap is worth checking against any late booking.

Running a session here

Republic Padel Simprug has 7 courts, and a 60-minute booking is the slot to plan around. That fixes almost everything else about the evening.

  • Bring 28 to 37 players. 28 is everyone on court every round; past that you are running a sit-out queue, which is fine but somebody has to track it.
  • Expect about 6 rounds once you take out warm-up and changeovers — play each to 21 points so every court finishes together and the scores stay comparable.
  • At 37 players, 9 people sit out each round. 7 courts tops out at 37 players before the sit-out queue is longer than the court time.

Formats that fit

  • Americano a full rotation at 28 players is 27 rounds and the booking holds 6, so you play a slice of it. Fine for an evening, but the standings are a snapshot rather than a complete table.
  • Mexicano re-pairs by the standings each round, so the games stay close. 6 rounds is enough for the table to mean something.
  • King of the Court needs about 14 rounds to climb 7 courts, and the booking gives 6.

If you book fewer courts

Seven courts is twenty-eight players on court and a ceiling of thirty-seven, with nine resting each round at the top. Along with Smash Simatupang, this is as large as a Jakarta session gets outside the Airdome.

Seven consecutive courts is the real advantage over a six-court venue, and it is not a rounding difference: twenty-eight is a whole extra doubles court of people, and this is one of a handful of venues where a group that size gets them side by side.

At twenty-eight an Americano needs twenty-seven rounds, which nothing delivers. Mexicano, one target, set once.

Bring balls. The venue does not supply them, and turning up with twenty-eight people and no balls is the one failure mode this page can actually prevent. Eight per court maximum for a social session.

You cannot bring your own coach. If your session was going to include a lesson, it has to be one of the venue's coaches — book that at the same time as the courts.

The sauna and ice bath earn their place at this size. With thirty-seven players on seven courts, nine people are off court every round and they have somewhere to be.

Common questions

Is this really where the Indonesian national team trains?
Yes. Timnas Padel Indonesia held its FIP Asia Cup 2025 training camp at Republic Padel Simprug, and the PBPI national selection was run here, confirmed by the venue's manager to BolaSport.
What does a session cost?
Rp450.000 a session, discounted from Rp500.000 when booked through the Ayo app. Racket rental is Rp25.000 an hour and must also go through Ayo. The venue does not supply balls.
Can a booking be moved?
It is non-refundable and non-cancellable, but you may reschedule once up to three days before, subject to court availability. If the venue causes the problem — a repair or a power cut — you get a replacement slot the following week rather than cash.
