Nine outdoor padel courts — six for doubles, three for singles — built by Jubo-Padel in glass and steel, floodlit, and open until 23:30 every day of the week. That is the largest padel footprint in Frankfurt, and the venue's position on winter is refreshingly blunt: they play outdoors all year, and the weather is a question of what you wear.
It is a sports park rather than a padel venue, which is either the point or beside it depending on your group: four indoor soccer pitches, an outdoor soccer arena, a soccer box, three beach volleyball courts, bubble soccer, 1,800 m² of hall and 6,500 m² outdoors, a sports bar with a terrace and a playground. Courts are €20 off-peak and €28 in prime time, singles from €14, and a ten-session pass costs €245 for €260 of credit.
Getting there
The August-Schanz-Straße is in Eschersheim in the north, a few kilometres from Padel Frankfurt at the Niddapark — the two together make the north of the city where Frankfurt's padel actually is.
Running a session here
SF Sportpark Frankfurt has 6 courts, and a 60-minute booking is the slot to plan around. That fixes almost everything else about the evening.
- Bring 24 to 32 players. 24 is everyone on court every round; past that you are running a sit-out queue, which is fine but somebody has to track it.
- Expect about 6 rounds once you take out warm-up and changeovers — play each to 21 points so every court finishes together and the scores stay comparable.
- At 32 players, 8 people sit out each round. 6 courts tops out at 32 players before the sit-out queue is longer than the court time.
- The 3 singles courts are left out of those numbers — they seat two, so they take no round of a four-player rotation. Useful for a warm-up, or for whoever is sitting one out.
Formats that fit
- Americano a full rotation at 24 players is 23 rounds and the booking holds 6, so you play a slice of it. Fine for an evening, but the standings are a snapshot rather than a complete table.
- Mexicano re-pairs by the standings each round, so the games stay close. 6 rounds is enough for the table to mean something.
- King of the Court needs about 12 rounds to climb 6 courts, and the booking gives 6.
| Courts | Everyone plays | Up to |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | 4 | 5 |
| 2 | 8 | 10 |
| 3 | 12 | 16 |
| 4 | 16 | 21 |
| 5 | 20 | 26 |
| 6 | 24 | 32 |
Six doubles courts is twenty-four players on court and a ceiling of thirty-two, which is the biggest group any Frankfurt venue can take. At twenty-four the Americano is out — twenty-three rounds against the six an hour gives at 21 points — so Mexicano, one target, all six courts the same.
King of the Court doesn't fit at this size either: it wants two rounds per court, so twelve rounds on six courts, and an hour holds eight even at 16 points. If your group specifically wants a KOTC ladder, book three courts and twelve players rather than all six.
The three singles courts at €14 are what to do with the eight people over the doubles ceiling, and the other sports are what to do with the ones who aren't playing at all. For a company day this is the only site in the city where padel, beach volleyball and a bar are one booking.
