Padel Tree sits on Adlergestell 105, inside Playground Berlin, the Treptow-Köpenick site that already rents football pitches, beach volleyball and a beach bar. The padel brand is new; the address is not. Playtomic's own venue copy is unusually honest about the state of the build: the venue is opening in phases, four outdoor courts are on the grid now (Padel 1 to 4), and the finished plan is ten — which would put it among the largest outdoor sites in the city, behind only Grenzallee.

Until those extra six exist, plan around four. Hours on the padel listing are 09:00 to 21:00 every day, racket and ball hire is on site, and there is no published price card — the slot on Playtomic is the fee. Directories that already print 'ten courts' or a €5 floor are describing the ambition or the football pitches, not the padel grid.

Getting there

Adlergestell 105 in Adlershof, Treptow-Köpenick. S Adlershof is the nearest rail; the site is built for cars and the padel listing includes free parking. From Ostkreuz it is a short S-Bahn hop south, not a trek to Wannsee.

Running a session here

Padel Tree @ Playground has 4 courts, and a 90-minute booking is the slot to plan around. That fixes almost everything else about the evening.

  • Bring 16 to 21 players. 16 is everyone on court every round; past that you are running a sit-out queue, which is fine but somebody has to track it.
  • Expect about 6 rounds once you take out warm-up and changeovers — play each to 32 points so every court finishes together and the scores stay comparable.
  • At 21 players, 5 people sit out each round. 4 courts tops out at 21 players before the sit-out queue is longer than the court time.

Formats that fit

  • Americano a full rotation at 16 players is 15 rounds and the booking holds 6, so you play a slice of it. Fine for an evening, but the standings are a snapshot rather than a complete table.
  • Mexicano re-pairs by the standings each round, so the games stay close. 6 rounds is enough for the table to mean something.
  • King of the Court needs about 8 rounds to climb 4 courts, and the booking gives 6.

If you book fewer courts

Four courts is sixteen on court and a ceiling of twenty-one. At sixteen a ninety-minute booking gives six rounds to 32, so play a Mexicano — an Americano at that size wants fifteen rounds.

If you are sizing a recurring group around 'Berlin's next big outdoor venue', book the four that exist and treat ten as a future tense. A WhatsApp that says 'they have ten courts' will over-invite.
