This is the option on the list that is a venue rather than a venue. Füchse Berlin Reinickendorf has existed since 1891, runs more than twenty-five sports across 12,000 square metres, and its handball side plays in the Bundesliga. Padel arrived as two courts and became four in 2026, and the point that matters for a visiting group is that you don't have to be a member: non-members book through Playtomic at an hourly rate, members pay €30 a month and no court fee.
The park around the courts is the difference from a padel-only site. Six beach volleyball courts, six tennis courts, air-domes for the winter, a venue restaurant and free parking, all of which make it a plausible place to spend an afternoon rather than a booking you arrive for and leave. Whether the four courts are still bookable in January is a question for the venue — padel here is outdoors.
Getting there
Eight minutes from U Residenzstraße, eleven from S Alt-Reinickendorf or S Wilhelmsruh, and there is plenty of free parking on the site itself. Vehicles come in from Kopenhagener Straße 33 or from Freiheitsweg 18 — the booking platform lists the second address, which confuses first-timers.
Running a session here
Füchse Berlin Reinickendorf has 4 courts, and a 60-minute booking is the slot to plan around. That fixes almost everything else about the evening.
- Bring 16 to 21 players. 16 is everyone on court every round; past that you are running a sit-out queue, which is fine but somebody has to track it.
- Expect about 6 rounds once you take out warm-up and changeovers — play each to 21 points so every court finishes together and the scores stay comparable.
- At 21 players, 5 people sit out each round. 4 courts tops out at 21 players before the sit-out queue is longer than the court time.
Formats that fit
- Americano a full rotation at 16 players is 15 rounds and the booking holds 6, so you play a slice of it. Fine for an evening, but the standings are a snapshot rather than a complete table.
- Mexicano re-pairs by the standings each round, so the games stay close. 6 rounds is enough for the table to mean something.
- King of the Court needs about 8 rounds to climb 4 courts, and the booking gives 6.
| Courts | Everyone plays | Up to |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | 4 | 5 |
| 2 | 8 | 10 |
| 3 | 12 | 16 |
| 4 | 16 | 21 |
Four courts means sixteen players on court and a comfortable ceiling around twenty-one. If your group plays here every week, the €30 membership pays for itself after roughly one court booking a week — worth doing the arithmetic for the two or three people who always come.
