The site is a former ice rink in Lankwitz, which is why there is space for four full panoramic courts in a part of Berlin that otherwise has none. It is a summer venue by inheritance — bookings open in spring — and it has built a proper programme around the courts rather than only renting them: introductory courses, after-work sessions, kids' courses and the Fiesta Friday tournament.
The kitchen matters more than it sounds. Cold drinks, fries and burgers on site turns a 90-minute booking into an evening, and for a group organising its first padel session that is the difference between people coming back and people having played padel once.
Getting there
South-west Berlin: S Lankwitz is the nearest station, and the Leonorenstraße site is a straightforward walk from it. For anyone driving in from Potsdam or the south, this is the easiest venue on the list to reach.
Running a session here
Padel Lankwitz has 4 courts, and a 60-minute booking is the slot to plan around. That fixes almost everything else about the evening.
- Bring 16 to 21 players. 16 is everyone on court every round; past that you are running a sit-out queue, which is fine but somebody has to track it.
- Expect about 6 rounds once you take out warm-up and changeovers — play each to 21 points so every court finishes together and the scores stay comparable.
- At 21 players, 5 people sit out each round. 4 courts tops out at 21 players before the sit-out queue is longer than the court time.
Formats that fit
- Americano a full rotation at 16 players is 15 rounds and the booking holds 6, so you play a slice of it. Fine for an evening, but the standings are a snapshot rather than a complete table.
- Mexicano re-pairs by the standings each round, so the games stay close. 6 rounds is enough for the table to mean something.
- King of the Court needs about 8 rounds to climb 4 courts, and the booking gives 6.
| Courts | Everyone plays | Up to |

| 2 | 8 | 10 |
| 3 | 12 | 16 |
| 4 | 16 | 21 |
Four courts, sixteen players, and a venue that already runs its own tournament format — if you are organising for a group that has never played, this is the least intimidating place on the list to do it. Bookings cancelled for rain are refunded without charge, but cancellations go through the office, which answers Monday to Friday until 15:00. Do not leave that to the morning of the match.
