NIXE Padel: three indoor courts on the Wannsee
Berlin's south-west finally has an indoor hall, and it sits on a marina rather than in a Gewerbegebiet — three courts, bookable on Playtomic, in a part of the city that used to mean a drive to Charlottenburg.
Also listed as NIXE Padel Wannsee.

The courts are at Königstraße 4b, on the south shore of the Großer Wannsee, inside the NIXE yacht harbour that has been a family boatyard here since 1950. That is not a branding flourish: you book padel next to the jetties, with Strandbad Wannsee across the water and the Potsdamer Yacht Club next door. For anyone who lives in Zehlendorf, Nikolassee, Potsdam or Kleinmachnow, this is the first indoor option that does not start with a trip through the city.
Playtomic lists three indoor courts — P1, P2 and P3 — and a weekday opening at 07:00, which in Berlin is still rare. A soft-opening voucher on the same page ran through 30 August 2026, so treat the hall as newly live rather than as a finished venue with a published price list. There is no venue site quoting a court fee; the grid is the source.
Getting there
S Wannsee is the rail stop, then a short hop along the Königstraße toward the water. The harbour advertises free parking. From Mitte this is a forty-minute S-Bahn ride, so it is a destination booking, not an after-work default for anyone coming from the east.
Running a session here
NIXE Padel has 3 courts, and a 90-minute booking is the slot to plan around. That fixes almost everything else about the evening.
- Bring 12 to 16 players. 12 is everyone on court every round; past that you are running a sit-out queue, which is fine but somebody has to track it.
- Expect about 6 rounds once you take out warm-up and changeovers — play each to 32 points so every court finishes together and the scores stay comparable.
- At 16 players, 4 people sit out each round. 3 courts tops out at 16 players before the sit-out queue is longer than the court time.
Formats that fit
- Americano a full rotation at 12 players is 11 rounds and the booking holds 6, so you play a slice of it. Fine for an evening, but the standings are a snapshot rather than a complete table.
- Mexicano re-pairs by the standings each round, so the games stay close. 6 rounds is enough for the table to mean something.
- King of the Court winners move up a court, losers move down. Works from 6 rounds on 3 courts.
| Courts | Everyone plays | Up to |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | 4 | 5 |
| 2 | 8 | 10 |
| 3 | 12 | 16 |
Three courts is twelve on court and a ceiling of sixteen. At twelve a ninety-minute slot gives ten rounds to 21, which finishes an Americano with a round to spare; at sixteen you are into Mexicano territory against the fifteen rounds that format needs.
Because the hall is new, confirm the fee on Playtomic for the actual slot before you divide it. A soft opening is exactly when the published number and the number you are charged can still disagree.
