Berlin's largest padel site by a wide margin, and the only one where a fifty-person tournament is a booking rather than a project. Also known as Padel Social Club and Padel Arena Berlin.

One site, three names: the booking platform calls it Padel Arena Berlin, the operator brands it Padel Social Club Berlin, and everybody who plays there says Grenzallee. Behind all of them is the same expanse of artificial turf off Haberstraße in Neukölln, run by the people behind Else and Birgit, with a second entrance at Bergiusstraße 33.
The court count has been a moving target, which is what happens to a site that keeps building: directories still say ten or eleven, and the booking grid now numbers courts up to thirteen plus a singles court. Take fourteen as the working figure and confirm before you promise anyone anything, because at this size the exact number decides whether your group plays one round or two.
What that buys is the thing no other Berlin venue can offer. Thirteen doubles courts seat fifty-two players in a single round — the format we would normally warn a large group away from becomes ordinary here, and a company tournament fits in one booking instead of being split across two evenings.
Getting there
Grenzallee (U7) is the closest station and the site is a short walk from it; the S-Bahn ring at Sonnenallee is the other approach. Parking is free, and with fifty people arriving that matters — but so does the fact that everything is outdoors and uncovered.
Running a session here
Grenzallee Padel has 13 courts, and a 60-minute booking is the slot to plan around. That fixes almost everything else about the evening.
- Bring 52 to 69 players. 52 is everyone on court every round; past that you are running a sit-out queue, which is fine but somebody has to track it.
- Expect about 6 rounds once you take out warm-up and changeovers — play each to 21 points so every court finishes together and the scores stay comparable.
- At 69 players, 17 people sit out each round. 13 courts tops out at 69 players before the sit-out queue is longer than the court time.
- The singles court is left out of those numbers — it seats two, so it takes no round of a four-player rotation. Useful for a warm-up, or for whoever is sitting one out.
Formats that fit
- Americano a full rotation at 52 players is 51 rounds and the booking holds 6, so you play a slice of it. Fine for an evening, but the standings are a snapshot rather than a complete table.
- Mexicano re-pairs by the standings each round, so the games stay close. 6 rounds is enough for the table to mean something.
- King of the Court needs about 26 rounds to climb 13 courts, and the booking gives 6.

Peak pricing is steep here (€53 an hour against €36 off-peak), and at thirteen courts that difference is a few hundred euros. A Saturday morning or a weekday before 15:00 is where a large group should look first, and the per-player split at that rate is still under ten euros.
Rackets rent for €5 and balls are sold rather than lent. With fifty players, half of whom have never held a padel racket, that is a line item worth planning rather than discovering at the desk.
