One court, named Padel 1, on the grounds of the Regency Miami Airport by Sonesta, a 176-key hotel under ten minutes from Miami International. There is a separate pickleball offer on the same booking system. This page is short because the venue is: it has no website of its own, and its entire self-description is a four-word booking-system line reading "Padel & Pickleball Club".

It is nonetheless real and open, which is the test that matters. Its booking system exposes a named court and a sport, its opening release said plainly that "Regency Padel is now open to the public" with booking through the app, and it opened in June 2025 with an exhibition by the Venezuelan national pickleball team, a live-ball clinic, a pizza pop-up and a coffee partner. The operator is MG Developer, a Coral Gables residential developer, and this is explicitly its first move into lifestyle hospitality. Note that the release describes "public and private padel courts" in the plural; the bookable inventory is one court, and one court is what this page reports.

What it does not have is worth stating plainly so nobody arrives expecting it: no published rate, no membership, no coaches, no clinics and no tournaments on the system. Its opening release promised clinics and tournaments for the following summer season and none is listed. It opens at 6am, earlier than anywhere else in the city, which together with the airport proximity suggests exactly who it is for — someone with a layover, an early flight, or a hotel room upstairs.

Getting there

NW 42nd Avenue on the hotel's grounds, under ten minutes from Miami International Airport. That proximity is the whole point of this venue: it is the only padel in the city you can reasonably reach and play between flights.

Running a session here

Regency Padel has one court, and a 90-minute booking is the slot to plan around. That fixes almost everything else about the evening.

  • Bring 4 to 5 players. 4 is everyone on court every round; past that you are running a sit-out queue, which is fine but somebody has to track it.
  • Expect about 6 rounds once you take out warm-up and changeovers — play each to 32 points so every court finishes together and the scores stay comparable.
  • At 5 players, 1 person sits out each round. One court tops out at 5 players before the sit-out queue is longer than the court time.

Formats that fit

  • Americano every pair partners every other pair inside the booking — 3 rounds, and you have 6.
  • Mexicano re-pairs by the standings each round, so the games stay close. 6 rounds is enough for the table to mean something.
  • King of the Court winners move up a court, losers move down. Works from 2 rounds on one court.

One court is four players, and five at the absolute most before somebody is watching every round. This is a venue for a single doubles match, not for a group session.

With four players, ninety minutes is six rounds to 32 points — and at four players a full Americano rotation is three rounds, so the format finishes comfortably and you can play the whole thing twice.

No rate is published and there is no membership, so confirm the price when you book.

The 6am opening is the reason to choose this venue. If your group's problem is that nowhere else is open early enough, this is the answer.
