The Circles Club is on Jl. Kapten Haryadi No.9 in Drono, Sardonoharjo, Ngaglik. The venue's own Ayo copy is the source for the number: four luxury super-panoramic courts, plus D'Daily Deli, with a recovery wing still marked coming soon. Hours are 06:00 to 22:00 — earlier close than Jogja Padel's midnight, which matters if the group eats after.
Two house rules are kinder than the Bantul venue's. An outside coach is allowed at no extra charge. Reschedule is H-2, once. Food and drink stay off the court; the deli is next door for sit-outs. Ayo's Rp130.000 'mulai dari' is a promo floor, not the court fee.
Getting there
Jl. Kapten Haryadi No.9, Ngaglik, Sleman — north of the city toward Kaliurang. WhatsApp 0812-3978-8337 if Ayo is down. Parking for cars and motorbikes is listed.
Running a session here
The Circles Club has 4 courts, and a 90-minute booking is the slot to plan around. That fixes almost everything else about the evening.
- Bring 16 to 21 players. 16 is everyone on court every round; past that you are running a sit-out queue, which is fine but somebody has to track it.
- Expect about 6 rounds once you take out warm-up and changeovers — play each to 32 points so every court finishes together and the scores stay comparable.
- At 21 players, 5 people sit out each round. 4 courts tops out at 21 players before the sit-out queue is longer than the court time.
Formats that fit
- Americano a full rotation at 16 players is 15 rounds and the booking holds 6, so you play a slice of it. Fine for an evening, but the standings are a snapshot rather than a complete table.
- Mexicano re-pairs by the standings each round, so the games stay close. 6 rounds is enough for the table to mean something.
- King of the Court needs about 8 rounds to climb 4 courts, and the booking gives 6.
| Courts | Everyone plays | Up to |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | 4 | 5 |
| 2 | 8 | 10 |
| 3 | 12 | 16 |
| 4 | 16 | 21 |
Four courts, sixteen on court, ceiling twenty-one. Close at 22:00, so a 21:00 start is a one-hour booking, not a late session.
Put sit-outs in the deli. That is the point of a café on site, and Circles is one of the few Jogja venues that has one working now.
