Padel Guru is on Jl. HOS Cokroaminoto No.146 in Tegalrejo, which is the reason it exists on this list: almost every other Jogja venue is in Sleman or Bantul. Ayo is the booking channel. The listing's cancel rules are strict — no refund, one reschedule, and Ayo's own widget says that reschedule window is seven days out, which is wider than Circles' H-2.
A local guide gives three indoor courts; the venue's Ayo page does not print a number. Three is what this session plan uses. The Ayo floor is a promo, not a rate.
Getting there
Jl. HOS Cokroaminoto No.146, Tegalrejo — west of the Tugu, inside the kota. For a group staying around Malioboro or UGM this is the short hop; for a group in Ngaglik, Circles is closer.
Running a session here
Padel Guru Jogjakarta has 3 courts, and a 90-minute booking is the slot to plan around. That fixes almost everything else about the evening.
- Bring 12 to 16 players. 12 is everyone on court every round; past that you are running a sit-out queue, which is fine but somebody has to track it.
- Expect about 6 rounds once you take out warm-up and changeovers — play each to 32 points so every court finishes together and the scores stay comparable.
- At 16 players, 4 people sit out each round. 3 courts tops out at 16 players before the sit-out queue is longer than the court time.
Formats that fit
- Americano a full rotation at 12 players is 11 rounds and the booking holds 6, so you play a slice of it. Fine for an evening, but the standings are a snapshot rather than a complete table.
- Mexicano re-pairs by the standings each round, so the games stay close. 6 rounds is enough for the table to mean something.
- King of the Court winners move up a court, losers move down. Works from 6 rounds on 3 courts.
| Courts | Everyone plays | Up to |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | 4 | 5 |
| 2 | 8 | 10 |
| 3 | 12 | 16 |
Three courts is twelve on court and a ceiling of sixteen. At twelve a ninety-minute slot to 21 finishes an Americano with a round to spare.
