Twelve indoor doubles courts makes this the largest padel hall in Palm Beach County, and the number is stated twice in the club's own words — "12 professional indoor courts" on its location page and "12 premium indoor courts with perfect light, air, and AI cameras" in its booking system. The booking grid has thirteen rows because the thirteenth is a ball machine, named as such and bookable like a court. Twelve is the number.

The club is open, and this needs saying because its own website suggests otherwise. A pre-opening page is still live and still reads "Opening December 4th", the homepage still runs a "2 spots remaining" pre-sale banner, and three pre-sale forms remain published. What settles it is the club's own event listing, which dates the grand opening to 4 December 2025 with registration closed, and the live navigation, which points at a rebuilt membership page with the banner removed and operating hours in its place. The rest of the site is demonstrably stale — the last dated event is January 2026, the footer says 2025, and the sitemap does not list the location pages at all. If you check and come away thinking this club does not exist, that is why.

On cooling, take the club's own words and no more. It says "perfect lighting, acoustics and temperature" and, in its booking system, "perfect light, air, and AI cameras". That is a temperature claim and it is theirs. It is not the phrase The Replay Club and Padel X use about their own halls, and it is not upgraded to one here — a rival club's blog does describe these courts as climate-controlled, but that is a competitor's word about a competitor and it is not evidence of anything. Twelve sealed courts in Florida with a stated temperature claim: that is what is on the record.

The court rate for this location is not published, and the gap is oddly specific. Its "visit and play" page carries the same "no membership required" headline as the Westlake site and the same three buttons, but the rate table that Westlake's version of that page prints has been removed from this one. So a walk-in cannot read this hall's price on the club's own website, and the booking system needs an account. It is reasonable to expect the sibling's card to apply — same operator, same platform, one page template — but the member-side prices differ between the two locations, which is exactly why the court rate cannot be assumed either.

The member side is location-specific and published. The entry tier is $150 a month and covers this hall only; the middle tier is $300 and covers both this and Westlake; the top tier is priced on request. Every court figure inside them is written as a floor — "from $30 per person", "from $20 per person" — so they are floors here too. The club credit each tier includes is the more interesting number, because the club restricts it precisely: credit "can be used only for court rental during non-peak hours", defined as weekdays 11:30am to 4pm and weekends 1pm to 10pm. That is the most exact peak definition anybody in the county publishes, and note what it does — it makes almost the whole weekend off-peak. There is also an initiation fee, listed as included on every tier and never given an amount.

Non-members are welcome and the club is emphatic: "no membership required. Drop in for a game, grab a bite at on-site restaurant, or join an event. Everyone's welcome at Xcel!" Its events are open too, by RSVP and without a membership. The qualification is in its booking policy, which says members "generally have priority access to advance reservations, and non-members/guests may have limited advance booking privileges" — members' published window is one week — and that repeat guest play "may be limited", with no number attached. There is also a free trial: a sixty-minute coached "Experience Padel" session, six people to a court, currently listed for this location with the date to be confirmed.

The cancellation policy is the most detailed in the county and it is worth reading before you book for a group. Twenty-four hours on the two lower tiers and for non-members, with a stricter forty-eight sometimes applied to non-members; six hours on the top tier. Late cancellation is charged "generally up to the full cost of the booking", automatically, to the card on file. A no-show is fifteen minutes — a 7pm court is held until 7:15pm and may then be released. Refunds are club credit rather than money "unless required by law", rescheduling is not offered, and three courts or more may need a deposit.

Twelve doubles courts seat forty-eight players with nobody sitting out, and the arithmetic stretches to sixty-four before the rests get long. Nothing else in Palm Beach County comes close — the next largest halls hold forty. At ninety minutes that is about six rounds at a points target of 32, which is a club night rather than a session, and worth knowing: a forty-eight-player Americano needs forty-seven rounds to give everybody every partner, so a rotation this size will not finish. Plan it as an evening with a winner, not a complete round-robin.

The rest of the building is a wellness club. Its booking-system blurb names the recovery suite specifically — sauna, steam room and cold plunge — which is more than the Westlake site's equivalent sentence does, and its own page adds a performance gym, IV therapy, massage and lounge zones. The restaurant has its own brand, Olea & Bloom, and is discounted by membership tier rather than thrown in. Coaching runs under a named lineage: Marcos Del Pilar is a partner and senior advisor, described by the club as "widely recognized as the godfather of padel in the USA", and coaches are certified in his methodology. Partner-finding is a WhatsApp group. Changing rooms and lockers are confirmed in the club's own configuration; showers are never mentioned, and the same configuration confirms there is no cafeteria.

Getting there

101 Sansbury's Way, about eight and a half miles west of downtown West Palm Beach. Despite the name, this is a western-suburbs site rather than a downtown one — it is the closest of the county's five big indoor halls to Clematis Street, and it is still a drive.

Parking is free and on site, confirmed in the club's own booking configuration.

Doors are 7am Monday to Saturday, which is an hour earlier than the Westlake site, and the two close at the same time on weekdays. If you play at seven in the morning, this is the Xcel to use.

Use the www host for the club's website: the bare domain has no DNS record at all and simply fails to resolve.

Running a session here

Xcel Padel West Palm Beach has 12 courts, and a 90-minute booking is the slot to plan around. That fixes almost everything else about the evening.

  • Bring 48 to 64 players. 48 is everyone on court every round; past that you are running a sit-out queue, which is fine but somebody has to track it.
  • Expect about 6 rounds once you take out warm-up and changeovers — play each to 32 points so every court finishes together and the scores stay comparable.
  • At 64 players, 16 people sit out each round. 12 courts tops out at 64 players before the sit-out queue is longer than the court time.

Formats that fit

  • Americano a full rotation at 48 players is 47 rounds and the booking holds 6, so you play a slice of it. Fine for an evening, but the standings are a snapshot rather than a complete table.
  • Mexicano re-pairs by the standings each round, so the games stay close. 6 rounds is enough for the table to mean something.
  • King of the Court needs about 24 rounds to climb 12 courts, and the booking gives 6.

If you book fewer courts

This is where to bring a big group. Twelve courts seat forty-eight players with everybody on court and about sixty-four with rotation, and no other venue in Palm Beach County holds more than forty.

At that size the format matters more than the courts. A ninety-minute booking gives about six rounds, and a full Americano rotation for forty-eight people needs forty-seven — so set a points target and play for a result rather than promising everybody every partner.

You cannot price this booking from the club's website. The rate table is missing from this location's page while the Westlake site publishes a full one, and the booking system needs an account, so get the number by phone before you commit a group.

Build fifteen minutes of slack into your arrival. A no-show here is defined as fifteen minutes past the start, after which the court may be released and charged at up to the full booking cost.

If you are booking three courts or more, expect to be asked for a deposit, and give forty-eight hours' notice where you can — the policy prefers it for groups and may hold non-members to forty-eight hours on cancellation anyway.

Off-peak here means weekdays 11:30am to 4pm and weekends 1pm to 10pm, in the club's own definition. Most of the weekend counts as off-peak, which is unusual and useful.

Common questions

Is Xcel Padel West Palm Beach open?
Yes, since 4 December 2025. Its own website is confusing on the point — a pre-opening page still says "Opening December 4th" and the homepage still shows a pre-sale banner — but the club's own event listing dates the grand opening to December 2025 with registration closed, the live navigation points at a post-opening membership page, and its booking system carries twelve named courts with published hours and a working phone number.
What does a court cost here?
The club does not publish a court rate for this location. Its sibling site at Westlake prints a full card on the equivalent page and this one has the table removed, and the booking system does not show prices without an account. Member court prices are published as floors — from $30 a person on the entry tier and from $20 on the middle one — and the member prices differ between the two locations, so the Westlake card cannot safely be assumed to apply here.
Are the courts air-conditioned?
All twelve are indoor, and the club claims "perfect lighting, acoustics and temperature" and "perfect light, air". It never uses the words air-conditioned or climate-controlled about its own courts, so those words are not used here either. It is a stated temperature claim in a sealed building, which is not quite the same thing, and it is what the club is prepared to say.
Do I need a membership to play?
No. The club's own words are "no membership required — drop in for a game", and its events are open to non-members by RSVP. Members get priority on the booking window, discounts and club credit; non-members may have a shorter advance window and can be held to a stricter forty-eight-hour cancellation notice. Memberships are $150 a month for this hall, $300 for both Xcel halls, and priced on request at the top tier.
How many people can play in one booking?
Twelve doubles courts seat forty-eight players with nobody resting, and up to about sixty-four with rotation — the largest capacity in Palm Beach County by a clear margin. A ninety-minute slot gives roughly six rounds at a points target of 32. A complete Americano rotation for forty-eight would need forty-seven rounds, so plan a night with a result rather than a full round-robin.
