Toby's: four courts named after coffee, with a physio next door

Tobys Racquet Club has four super-panoramic courts at BSD Green Office Park on Jl. BSD Grand Boulevard, and it has named them after coffees: Americano, Biscotti, Cappucino and Dolce. There is a joke in the first one that anybody who runs an Americano format will enjoy. What sets the venue apart is what surrounds them — a café, lockers, showers and changing rooms, plus physiotherapy services, weight training and a retail area, all on one site. No other padel venue in Tangerang Selatan lists a physio. It holds 4.92 across 54 reviews and runs 06:00 to midnight seven days.

The house rules are written in the venue's own cheerful register and cover the usual ground: no outside food or drink on court, proper sportswear and court shoes, start and finish on schedule, be kind to staff and players, and no responsibility taken for accidents, injuries or lost belongings. Pets are welcome as long as they are wearing diapers. Vaping and IQOS are allowed, cigarettes are not permitted around the court area. Racket rental is available across several brands from reception, and community bookings, sponsorships and event packages go through the venue directly. Weekdays run Rp220.000 to Rp399.000 an hour, weekends Rp220.000 to Rp280.000.

Four courts is sixteen on court and a ceiling of twenty-one. An hour is six rounds to 21, which is a Mexicano; the fifteen rounds a sixteen-player Americano needs are out of reach.

For a regular group with an injury or two in it, the on-site physio is the reason to make this the home ground rather than a cheaper hall down the boulevard.
