Samase Private Padel describes itself as more than a court: a space where sport, wellness and community meet, in Bintaro, offering a premium experience with a private and comfortable atmosphere for beginners and experienced players alike. Two courts, listed as Court Private 1 and Court Private 2, and the word private is the whole proposition. It is a new venue — two reviews at the time of writing, so treat the perfect average as meaningless — and runs 06:00 to 22:00 daily on Jl. Pondok Betung Raya.

Its rules are seven lines and one of them is about the outside world: players are asked to respect the surrounding neighbourhood as well as fellow players and staff, keeping behaviour and noise at appropriate levels. On a residential street that is a real constraint on a late session. Otherwise: arrive at least ten minutes before your booking, the booking covers court time only, bring your own equipment unless you have arranged rental, no smoking or vaping inside the area, bin your rubbish, and management may refuse entry to anyone not complying. The only figure Ayo publishes is a promotional floor, so ask what your slot costs.

Getting there

Jl. Pondok Betung Raya No.134, Pondok Aren 15221 — the padel street of Pondok Aren, also home to Goat, DAF and Padel Villa. Car and motorbike parking on site.

Running a session here

Samase Private Padel has 2 courts, and a 60-minute booking is the slot to plan around. That fixes almost everything else about the evening.

  • Bring 8 to 10 players. 8 is everyone on court every round; past that you are running a sit-out queue, which is fine but somebody has to track it.
  • Expect about 6 rounds once you take out warm-up and changeovers — play each to 21 points so every court finishes together and the scores stay comparable.
  • At 10 players, 2 people sit out each round. 2 courts tops out at 10 players before the sit-out queue is longer than the court time.

Formats that fit

  • Americano a full rotation at 8 players is 7 rounds and the booking holds 6, so you play a slice of it. Fine for an evening, but the standings are a snapshot rather than a complete table.
  • Mexicano re-pairs by the standings each round, so the games stay close. 6 rounds is enough for the table to mean something.
  • King of the Court winners move up a court, losers move down. Works from 4 rounds on 2 courts.

If you book fewer courts

Two courts is eight on court and a ceiling of ten. An eight-player Americano needs seven rounds against the six an hour gives, so book ninety minutes.

The 22:00 close and the neighbourhood noise rule point the same way: this is an early-evening venue, not a late one.

Common questions
