Centercourt Padel Morristown: an indoor three and an outdoor three
Six courts split evenly between a hall and the open air in Morris County, which is how this venue gets to year-round play without ever claiming to heat anything.

Six padel courts, three under a roof and three outdoors, about thirty miles west of Manhattan. The split is the whole design: the venue advertises year-round play and arrives at it by having somewhere to go when the weather turns, rather than by heating or covering the outdoor three. Nothing in its own materials claims heat, a bubble or air conditioning over the padel — the closest anyone comes is the court supplier noting that the indoor area's high ceilings suit winter and rain. Worth knowing before you book a January match here: there is a warm option, and it is three courts, not six.
The outdoor three are Panorama Forte courts by Padel Box — black galvanised steel on textured blue turf, with custom light posts and decorative grass entrances, which the supplier says were designed partly to clear city permits. That is a court-supplier claim rather than the venue's own, but it is specific enough to be checkable, and it explains why the outdoor courts look like a deliberate piece of landscaping rather than a fenced slab.
What sets this venue apart from anything else in the metro is the program roster, and the names are its own: Pizza & Padel, The Breakfast Club, Cardio & Padel, Rise & Rally, Performance Padel, Que Padel BBQ, a mixed doubles round robin, Ladies Division A open play, a Ladies Core Circuit League and an NJ Ladies Padel drop-in box league. Alvaro Quintana — the tennis professional who pitched padel to the company in 2023 and got it built — is Director of Padel, alongside Jaime Ferriero, Daniel Wright and Brian Combias. None of the programs publish a price.
One thing to ignore on the venue's own site: its Morristown location page still says three indoor and three outdoor courts are "on the way". The outdoor three are built and the court supplier documented the installation. The padel section is current; the location page is not.
Getting there
Columbia Road in Morristown, with on-site parking, and realistically a drive rather than a train for anyone coming from the city — roughly an hour from Manhattan by car. The Centercourt network's shared app is a deliberate discovery route: members at its other New Jersey sites are pointed here for padel, which is why a Chatham tennis player ends up on a padel court ten minutes down the road.
Running a session here
Centercourt Padel Morristown has 6 courts, and a 60-minute booking is the slot to plan around. That fixes almost everything else about the evening.
- Bring 24 to 32 players. 24 is everyone on court every round; past that you are running a sit-out queue, which is fine but somebody has to track it.
- Expect about 6 rounds once you take out warm-up and changeovers — play each to 21 points so every court finishes together and the scores stay comparable.
- At 32 players, 8 people sit out each round. 6 courts tops out at 32 players before the sit-out queue is longer than the court time.
Formats that fit
- Americano a full rotation at 24 players is 23 rounds and the booking holds 6, so you play a slice of it. Fine for an evening, but the standings are a snapshot rather than a complete table.
- Mexicano re-pairs by the standings each round, so the games stay close. 6 rounds is enough for the table to mean something.
- King of the Court needs about 12 rounds to climb 6 courts, and the booking gives 6.
| Courts | Everyone plays | Up to |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | 4 | 5 |
| 2 | 8 | 10 |
| 3 | 12 | 16 |
| 4 | 16 | 21 |
| 5 | 20 | 26 |
| 6 | 24 | 32 |
Six courts is twenty-four players on court at once and thirty-two before the sit-out queue becomes the session — the largest group this metro can seat outside Padel Haus Williamsburg. Almost nobody needs that, and the court ladder below is the more useful half: book two for eight, three for twelve.
At twenty-four players an Americano is arithmetically out of reach. A full rotation is twenty-three rounds and an hour buys six. Run a Mexicano with one points target, set once, and let the re-pairing do the work.
Decide indoor or outdoor for the whole group rather than splitting a rotation across both. Players walking between a hall and an outdoor court every round is time off the clock, and in this venue's case it also means half your group is in the weather and half isn't.
No hourly court rate is published anywhere — it sits behind the booking login and the app. Membership is $150 a month, $250 for couples, $500 unlimited, $75 for under-35s on an annual commitment, and members get 30% off open play, clinics, lessons and leagues. Budget by asking, not by trusting a directory: the $20–$60 band printed for this venue is the same band those sites print for every venue in the state.

- Membership is $150 a month, $250 for couples, $500 unlimited and $75 for Junior Associates aged 35 and under on an annual commitment, with 30% off programs and the shop. No hourly court rate is published.
- What are the opening hours?
