Willowbrook is the outdoor half of Racket Social Club's Houston pair, and the club's own location page is clear about what it is: "Play on four full-panoramic padel courts located in Willowbrook, Houston. Ideal for competitive matches, social play, and training, these outdoor courts bring world-class padel to northwest Houston", plus "two outdoor pickleball courts in the heart of Willowbrook." Four courts, outdoor, full-panoramic. No roof, no shade, no fans documented anywhere.

That matters because the club's own homepage says something else. The tile headed "Willowbrook, TX" reads "Five indoor padel courts, 30-foot ceilings, lounge, locker rooms, snack bar, and pro shop" — the specification of the chain's Katy site, printed under this one's name. If you are choosing between the two on the strength of the homepage, you are choosing between the same club twice. The location pages are the accurate ones, and in a Houston summer the difference between four uncovered courts and a climate-controlled hall is the whole decision.

The club's own opening hours are themselves the heat answer: 6:30am to 10:30pm Monday to Thursday, to 11pm on Friday, 7am to 11pm on Saturday and 7am to 9pm on Sunday. Early mornings and late evenings, lit, with the middle of the day available but not where the programming sits. Note that the club's booking tenant publishes a far narrower window — weekday evenings 7pm to 11pm and weekend mornings 8am to 11am — which reads as the slots released to that platform rather than when the gates are open, and which points at the same conclusion about when this site is comfortable.

The open-play calendar is the busiest in the metro and it is priced, live, on the booking system rather than promised on a page: Thursday open play at 7pm for 120 minutes at $20; Saturday padel open play at 7:30pm for 90 minutes at $15 with sixteen places; Saturday pickleball at the same time for $10; and a Tuesday "Baby Let's Padel" open play at 7pm for 90 minutes at $25. Those figures are the only published prices for either Houston site — there is no court rate and the membership page for this location is still labelled "coming soon" on the chain's own memberships hub. Membership, when it lands, buys discounted fees, free racket rentals and priority registration; the shared FAQ is explicit that no membership is needed to book.

The amenities differ from Katy's in small documented ways worth knowing: this site lists WiFi, a store and private parking, and no lockers on the booking system, where Katy lists lockers and neither WiFi nor a store — though the chain's FAQ describes clean locker rooms, snacks and hydration stations here too. Booking is the same contradiction as at Katy: the FAQ's how-to-book answer says Playtomic and requires a profile for every player, while its cancellation and payment answers name PlayByPoint and are tagged "coming soon". The live Playtomic tenant works.

Getting there

12825 1/2 Cutten Rd in Willowbrook, north-west Houston near the Highway 249 and Beltway 8 junction. Free and private parking on site.

The booking system renders postcode 77069 while the street address is 77066. Trust the street address.

Four courts takes sixteen players with everyone on court each round and twenty-one as the ceiling, at which five rest at a time. No booking length is published; on a 90-minute slot that is six rounds to 32 points or ten to 21.

The published open-play sessions are the cheapest organized padel in Houston — $15 for 90 minutes on a Saturday, $20 for two hours on a Thursday — and they are also the answer for a group that cannot fill four courts. Sixteen places on the Saturday session means a group of six can turn up and still play a full rotation.

Four uncovered courts and nothing documented in the way of shade or fans makes the slot the whole decision in summer. The club's own hours start at 6:30am and run to 11pm for a reason, and its booking platform only offers weekday evenings and weekend mornings.

For a group that needs certainty about weather, the chain's Katy site is five cooled indoor courts twenty-five miles south. Same brand, same membership, opposite product.

Common questions

Are Willowbrook's courts covered?
No. Four full-panoramic outdoor courts with no roof, shade or fans documented anywhere, plus two outdoor pickleball courts. The club's homepage wrongly prints its Katy site's indoor specification under this location's name.
What does open play cost?
From the club's own booking system: $20 for two hours on Thursday, $15 for 90 minutes on Saturday, $25 for the Tuesday "Baby Let's Padel" session, and $10 for Saturday pickleball.
Is there a court rate or membership price?
Neither is published. The chain lists rates for its Denver site only, and this location's membership page is still labelled coming soon. No membership is required to book a court.
When is the best time to play in summer?
Early morning or late evening. The club's own hours run from 6:30am to 10:30pm and its booking platform releases weekday evenings and weekend mornings, which on uncovered courts is the practical window.
