Padel Country Club runs two Houston sites and one website, which is written chain-first: one About page, one membership, one bar and pro-shop section, with Katy and Memorial appearing as feature blocks rather than pages. The framing is "Two locations, one premium experience — indoor & outdoor padel, cafe, pro shop, kids room, soccer fields, and sponsorship." Their Katy-specific writing is warmer: indoor and outdoor courts, a coffee bar, party rooms, day care and lounges, and a claim to be "more than just a sports facility – we're a community hub dedicated to promoting health, family bonding, and of course, the love of padel." The company was founded in 2023 and is headquartered here.

Katy is the site where the Houston cover question has a precise answer, because the club's own booking system names each court and tags it. One "Padel Indoor", panoramic. Three "Padel Outdoor roofed", crystal. One "Padel Outdoor", crystal. Five padel courts, of which four are outdoor and three of those four have a roof. The club's own feature list matches: "Outdoor Padel Courts: Spacious, professional-grade courts under the Texas sky", "Indoor Climate-Controlled Arena: Play comfortably year-round", and "Covered Courts for All Weather: Enjoy play rain or shine with covered outdoor options." Note what that means in practice — climate control is claimed for the single indoor court, and the three roofed courts are shaded rather than cooled.

There is no court rate. Neither Padel Country Club site publishes a dollar figure per hour or per player anywhere, and this is the largest gap in the pair. What is published is a membership and a set of percentages off an unstated base: $80 a month, no initiation fee, cancel any time, covering both locations, with 30% off peak reservations, 50% off-peak and 70% at lunchtime between noon and 3pm, a 12-day booking window, free racket rentals, 20% off clinics, 15% off events and 5% off the pro shop. Their booking system sells a three-tier structure their own site never mentions: the same $80 Club membership, a Silver tier at $80 with smaller discounts and no gym, and a Gold tier at $99 including the gym and cancellation to 12 hours. A directory's "$25–45 per court per hour" is an estimate for the Katy area generally and not this club's figure, so it is not repeated here.

The rest of the complex is what makes this a family choice rather than a padel choice. Natural-grass 7-a-side and 5-a-side football pitches with lights, a kids room the club describes as "a comfortable space that makes it easier for parents to enjoy their time at the club", a play park, a bar serving barista coffee, snacks, wine and cold beer, an outdoor bar and social lounge, a premium indoor lounge, and a pro shop carrying rackets, shoes and apparel. Three tenants share the building and none of them is padel: HM Coworking runs fourteen private offices on the second floor, the Juventus FC Academy operates its official soccer academy inside the facility, and Miyagi Ken International Karate Academy trains here.

Coaching runs through One Padel Academy — "professional padel training designed for players of all levels", private and group lessons, with certified coaches who are not named. Non-members can book: the memberships here are discount schemes rather than gates.

Getting there

5206 E 3rd St in Katy, west of Houston off the Interstate 10 corridor. Free and private parking on site.

The complex holds football pitches, a coworking floor, a karate academy and the Juventus FC Academy alongside the padel courts, so allow for a busy parking lot at weekends.

Five courts is a twenty-player session with every court full each round, and twenty-six the ceiling before six players are resting at a time. The club publishes no booking length, so plan the rounds off whatever slot the grid offers — a 90-minute booking is six rounds to 32 points or ten to 21.

This is the metro's best site for a group that does not agree on padel. Four courts outdoors and one in, football pitches on natural grass, a kids room and a play park means the people who came along have somewhere to be, which is not true at a five-court hall.

Because only one court is climate-controlled, court allocation is the whole summer question here. Three of the four outdoor courts are roofed, which is shade and not cooling; the fifth is fully open. If comfort matters, ask for the indoor court or a roofed one by name when booking.

No court rate is published, only percentage discounts off an unpublished base, so a group cannot work out the bill in advance. The lunchtime slot carries the largest discount at 70%, which in July is also the least comfortable one on four of the five courts.

Common questions

How many of the courts are covered?
Of five padel courts, one is indoor and panoramic, three are outdoor with roofs, and one is fully open. The club's own booking system names and tags each court individually.
Which courts are air-conditioned?
The club claims climate control for its indoor arena only. The three roofed outdoor courts are shaded rather than cooled, and no cooling claim covers them.
What does a court cost?
No court rate is published. Membership is $80 a month with no initiation fee, covering both Houston sites, and gives 30% off peak, 50% off-peak and 70% at lunchtime off an unpublished base rate.
Is there anything for non-players at the site?
Yes — natural-grass football pitches, a kids room, a play park, a bar with barista coffee and beer, and an outdoor social lounge. A coworking floor, a karate academy and the Juventus FC Academy also operate in the building.
