Lobb's has the best-written self-description of any venue in this metro, and it is not on its own website. The club-supplied copy on the Visit The Woodlands listing runs: "Five premium courts, open play, leagues, clinics, coaching, social events, and a junior academy led by an international-level head coach. Whether you've played for years or you've never picked up a racket, there's a spot for you here — ten minutes in, you're already rallying. Off the court, the club runs on the same idea. Lobb's Coffee by Fifth Vessel serves specialty coffee, food, and a full bar. There's a wellness area with a sauna, cold plunge, and showers, a pro shop, and plenty of room to sit down and stay a while." Their own tagline is "From workout to hangout", and unusually for padel marketing it describes what the building actually contains.
Read the opening status before you plan around this one. Two local outlets report that the club opened on 6 July 2026. Its own homepage still reads "Court opening soon! WE'RE IN PRESALE", its footer says "Coming May 2026", and its membership page header says "Now Open" — three answers from the same site. Against all of that, the OpenCourt booking schedule is live. The live grid is the evidence to trust, but nothing the club itself publishes confirms it, so check availability before driving out.
There is no rate card. Not a court rate, not a membership price, nowhere. What exists instead is offer-shaped: a seven-day trial at $49, described as "One week. Everything we've got. Open play, clinics, round robins, the courts, the wellness area, the whole club"; a free introduction to padel; and founding-member terms promising no initiation fee, savings of "up to $250", 10% off gear, a free welcome clinic and three guest passes, capped at a hundred places. That $250 initiation saving is the only figure that hints at the underlying structure. The $49 is a trial, not a rate, and this page does not convert it into one.
The five courts are described as indoor and premium, and the club makes no air-conditioning claim. It is a 2026 new build inside a 75,000 square foot indoor plaza, so cooling is likely — but likely is not published, and in this city the difference matters enough not to assume it. Nothing states ceiling height, surface, or whether the courts are panoramic or walled.
The setting is the practical draw. Lobb's is the anchor tenant of the Dudley Sports Plaza, an $8m, 75,000 square foot complex near Kuykendahl Road and FM 1488, sharing the site with Slick City Action Park and an Elite Pickleball Club — which makes it the rare padel venue where the rest of the family has somewhere to be. Community Impact names the owner as Justin Huet Dastarac, operating as Padel Square LLC, and reports the intention to build a chain. Private hire covers partial and full buy-outs with capacity for two hundred across the five courts plus the café and lounge. The junior academy is led by a head coach described in three separate sources as international-level and named in none of them.
Getting there
3905 FM 1488, Suite 120, in the Dudley Sports Plaza near the Kuykendahl Road junction. Slick City Action Park and an Elite Pickleball Club share the complex.
The club's own footer gives the address as Spring, TX 77382 while every other source, including the local tourism listing, says The Woodlands 77382. It is the same building either way.
Five courts is a twenty-player session with everyone on court every round, and twenty-six is the practical ceiling — beyond that six people are resting at any moment and the queue becomes the event. The club publishes no booking length, so this page cannot compute rounds for you; on a 90-minute slot, plan on six rounds to 32 points or ten to 21.
With no published rate and no published hours, this is a venue to phone before you organize anything for a group. The seven-day trial at $49 is the cheapest way for one person to find out what a session actually costs.
The two-hundred capacity buy-out across five courts and the café is the largest single-site private booking in the metro, and the plaza's other tenants make it the obvious choice for a mixed group where not everybody plays.
Five indoor courts with no stated cooling is the gap to close by asking. If it is air-conditioned it is one of five such venues in Houston; if it is a roof over a warehouse, a July afternoon session is a different proposition.
Common questions
- Is Lobb's Padel open?
- Almost certainly. Two local outlets report a 6 July 2026 opening and the OpenCourt booking schedule is live, but the club's own homepage still says presale and its footer says coming May 2026. Check the booking grid.

- Are the courts air-conditioned?
- The club does not say. Five courts are described as indoor and premium in club-supplied copy, but no cooling claim appears anywhere, and this page does not assume one.
