Teras Padel describes itself in four words — premium courts located in Cimanggis — and then says everything else in its house rules, which are the most neighbourly in this city. Two indoor courts on premium turf in Kampung Kebayunan, Tapos, open 06:00 to 22:00 both halves of the week, with hot showers, a mushola, snacks and drinks and parking for cars and motorbikes.

The rules read like a venue that shares a wall with somebody. Play your duration and be punctual so the next booking is not disturbed. Non-marking sports shoes. Spectators wait in the area provided rather than around the court. No smoking on court. Do not leave bottles or medical waste behind. Do not climb the fencing or lean heavily on the net. Keep the noise down — no excessive shouting. Mind your own belongings, because losses are not the venue's responsibility, and damage is charged. Rp170.000 on a weekday and Rp194.500 at the weekend, which is a precise enough figure to suggest a discount rather than a list price, on 4.91 across 25 reviews.

Getting there

Kp. Kebayunan, Tapos, Cimanggis — a kampung address rather than a boulevard, which fits the rulebook: this is a venue inside a neighbourhood, not on a commercial strip like CGE Arena or President Padel a few kilometres away.

Running a session here

Teras Padel has 2 courts, and a 60-minute booking is the slot to plan around. That fixes almost everything else about the evening.

  • Bring 8 to 10 players. 8 is everyone on court every round; past that you are running a sit-out queue, which is fine but somebody has to track it.
  • Expect about 6 rounds once you take out warm-up and changeovers — play each to 21 points so every court finishes together and the scores stay comparable.
  • At 10 players, 2 people sit out each round. 2 courts tops out at 10 players before the sit-out queue is longer than the court time.

Formats that fit

  • Americano a full rotation at 8 players is 7 rounds and the booking holds 6, so you play a slice of it. Fine for an evening, but the standings are a snapshot rather than a complete table.
  • Mexicano re-pairs by the standings each round, so the games stay close. 6 rounds is enough for the table to mean something.
  • King of the Court winners move up a court, losers move down. Works from 4 rounds on 2 courts.

If you book fewer courts

Two courts is eight on court and ten with a pair rotating. An hour at eight played to 16 finishes a full Americano, which is what to promise for a fixed group of eight.

Pass on the noise rule before you arrive with a competitive eight. A padel session that gets loud is normal everywhere else in this city and specifically discouraged here.

22:00 close means a 21:00 start is the last full hour, earlier than most of the Cimanggis side of Depok.
