Grand Garden: seven courts, and your coach stays at home

Grand Garden Padel states its own scale in three lines: seven courts in total, one Center Court it bills as extreme panoramic and six super-panoramic ones, plus a car park it puts at around eighty cars. Ayo names five of the seven — Court 1, Center Court, Court 2, 3 and 4. Turf, open 06:00 to midnight, café and restaurant, hot showers and a mushola, on Jl. Raya Siliwangi in Sepanjang Jaya. The listing carries 4.97 across 115 reviews, which at seven courts is the highest-rated large venue in the city.

Two of its sixteen rules will change what you plan. Rule 11: you may not bring a coach from outside Grand Garden Padel. Rule 10: you may not bring in an automatic ball launcher either. Between them a group that arrives with its own coach and a basket has nothing to do, so if the session is a clinic rather than a game, book somewhere that allows it — Crown Racquet Club, Kinetic and Playpro all do. Otherwise: book before you enter a court, late does not extend, minors supervised, non-marking shoes and decent kit, no outside food or alcohol on court, no eating, drinking or smoking courtside, and no photoshoots, content or events without permission.

Seven courts is twenty-eight on court and a ceiling of thirty-seven — the second-biggest single booking in Bekasi after Kinetic's eight. An hour is six rounds to 21, so this is Mexicano territory: an Americano at twenty-eight would want twenty-seven rounds.

Eighty parking spaces is the number that makes twenty-eight players feasible. Most Bekasi venues that could seat that many cannot park them.

No outside coach and no ball launcher. If the plan was a coached clinic, this is the wrong booking however many courts it has.
