Crown Racquet Club is at Summarecon Crown Gading and has three premium super-panoramic courts that differ only in colour: Court 1 is blue, Court 2 lime and pink, Court 3 green, all on premium synthetic grass. Hot water and a changing room are on the listing, and coaching is available at a price you have to ask for. The honest headline, though, is the venue's own first line: the prices shown are soft-opening prices while construction is still going on. Rp140.000 to Rp150.000 an hour, weekday and weekend, is therefore a number with a shelf life — quote it to your group as today's rate rather than the rate. 4.76 across 224 reviews.

Two rules make it unusually easy to organise around. External coaches are allowed, and so are external photographers — most Bekasi listings ban at least one. Against that, there is no rescheduling and no cancellation at all, and smoking is out except for electric. Nothing else is published.

Getting there

Summarecon Crown Gading, north Bekasi. The listing gives the development and no street, so use the Ayo map pin rather than a house number, and expect the Summarecon estate roads rather than a kerbside arrival.

Running a session here

Crown Racquet Club has 3 courts, and a 60-minute booking is the slot to plan around. That fixes almost everything else about the evening.

  • Bring 12 to 16 players. 12 is everyone on court every round; past that you are running a sit-out queue, which is fine but somebody has to track it.
  • Expect about 6 rounds once you take out warm-up and changeovers — play each to 21 points so every court finishes together and the scores stay comparable.
  • At 16 players, 4 people sit out each round. 3 courts tops out at 16 players before the sit-out queue is longer than the court time.

Formats that fit

  • Americano a full rotation at 12 players is 11 rounds and the booking holds 6, so you play a slice of it. Fine for an evening, but the standings are a snapshot rather than a complete table.
  • Mexicano re-pairs by the standings each round, so the games stay close. 6 rounds is enough for the table to mean something.
  • King of the Court winners move up a court, losers move down. Works from 6 rounds on 3 courts.

If you book fewer courts

Three courts is twelve on court and a ceiling of sixteen. An hour is six rounds to 21 — a Mexicano.

Bringing your own coach is allowed here, which makes it one of the few Bekasi venues where a coached session for twelve is a single booking rather than a negotiation. Grand Garden and One Two Padel both refuse an outside coach outright.

Confirm the price when you book. The venue has published these rates as soft-opening ones, and building work is the reason.

Common questions

Can we bring our own coach?
Yes. The house rules allow both an external coach and an external photographer, which is rare on Bekasi listings.
Are the prices final?
No. The venue states the listed rates are soft-opening prices while construction continues, so confirm before you split the cost.
