The rate is flat: Rp175.000 an hour, weekday or weekend, which for a six-court hall in this city is unusually simple to split. Rules are eight lines, and the smoking one is oddly precise — smoking is banned across the whole Padel Frenzy area and electronic cigarettes are permitted only in the lounge that is not air-conditioned. Otherwise: arrive on time because late minutes are not compensated, non-marking shoes, nothing to eat or drink on court, damage charged to whoever caused it, and the venue reserves the right to stop a session over abuse or a fight.

Six courts is twenty-four on court and a ceiling of thirty-two, with eight resting each round at that size. An hour is six rounds to 21, so a twenty-four-player Americano — twenty-three rounds — is out of the question; run a Mexicano or split into two blocks.

One flat rate makes the arithmetic honest: at Rp175.000 a court, six courts for an hour is Rp1.050.000, which is about Rp44.000 a head at twenty-four players.
