Match-A Padel Matic is the simulator side of the Pondok Jengkol site, and the venue claims it as the very first padel and tennis simulator in Gading Serpong: cutting-edge technology in a controlled environment, for a beginner picking up a racket and for a player sharpening a volley alike. The two bays are Matic A and Matic B on hardcourt, and Matic A adds a wall for rebound technique work. Sixty-nine reviewers have it at 4.89.

The operating rules define what a booking is. Up to four people may share a bay by rotation, with a maximum of two inside the playing area at once — so this is drilling, not doubles. Cancellation is allowed up to the day before, extra time can be bought on the spot through Ayo if a slot is free, and no food, drink, vaping or cigarettes come into the simulator area. Hours are 06:00 to 21:00, two hours shorter at the end of the day than the courts next door.

Getting there

Jalan Pondok Jengkol 35, Medang, Pagedangan — the same address as Match-A Padel Club's two courts. If the group wants a real match, book the venue; if it wants technique, book Matic.

Running a session here

Match-A Padel Matic has 2 courts, and a 60-minute booking is the slot to plan around. That fixes almost everything else about the evening.

  • Bring 8 to 10 players. 8 is everyone on court every round; past that you are running a sit-out queue, which is fine but somebody has to track it.
  • Expect about 6 rounds once you take out warm-up and changeovers — play each to 21 points so every court finishes together and the scores stay comparable.
  • At 10 players, 2 people sit out each round. 2 courts tops out at 10 players before the sit-out queue is longer than the court time.

Formats that fit

  • Americano a full rotation at 8 players is 7 rounds and the booking holds 6, so you play a slice of it. Fine for an evening, but the standings are a snapshot rather than a complete table.
  • Mexicano re-pairs by the standings each round, so the games stay close. 6 rounds is enough for the table to mean something.
  • King of the Court winners move up a court, losers move down. Works from 4 rounds on 2 courts.

If you book fewer courts

Two bays is four people rotating in pairs, not sixteen. There is no rotation to plan and no sit-out queue — this is an hour of drilling, and the venue's own cap is two inside at a time.

It pairs naturally with the courts at the same address: one bay for the pair who want to warm up, a court for the four who came to play.

Common questions
