Hala Padel 2.0 is the second hall on Jl. Kenangan, described by the venue as four additional padel courts next to Hala Padel 1.0 with higher ceilings and an enhanced community space. The courts are lettered — Court A, B, C and D — rather than numbered like the original five, which makes a group's booking unambiguous when both halls are busy. Twenty-nine reviewers have it at 4.95, and it keeps the same 6am-to-midnight day as its neighbour.

Policies are the Hala ones and they are strict in the same place: non-cancellable, non-refundable, and reschedulable only with 72 hours' notice. All four courts are padel-only, ball launchers are out, a private coach needs approval, and pets do not come in. Where 2.0 differs on the listing is the price ceiling — the entry above the Rp199.000 line is Rp250.000 here against Rp420.000 at 1.0 — and in the hot showers and mushola on its facilities list.

Running a session here

Hala Padel 2.0 has 4 courts, and a 60-minute booking is the slot to plan around. That fixes almost everything else about the evening.

  • Bring 16 to 21 players. 16 is everyone on court every round; past that you are running a sit-out queue, which is fine but somebody has to track it.
  • Expect about 6 rounds once you take out warm-up and changeovers — play each to 21 points so every court finishes together and the scores stay comparable.
  • At 21 players, 5 people sit out each round. 4 courts tops out at 21 players before the sit-out queue is longer than the court time.

Formats that fit

  • Americano a full rotation at 16 players is 15 rounds and the booking holds 6, so you play a slice of it. Fine for an evening, but the standings are a snapshot rather than a complete table.
  • Mexicano re-pairs by the standings each round, so the games stay close. 6 rounds is enough for the table to mean something.
  • King of the Court needs about 8 rounds to climb 4 courts, and the booking gives 6.

If you book fewer courts

Four courts is sixteen on court and a ceiling of twenty-one. An hour is six rounds to 21; the sixteen-player Americano's fifteen rounds do not fit and are not meant to.

For anything above twenty-one players, book across both Hala halls — nine courts on one street is the largest single-street capacity in Gading Serpong.
