The house rules are unusually explicit and one line stands out: throwing gum, cigarettes, food or drink onto the court carries a Rp5.000.000 charge. The rest is the standard shape — arrive on time because there is no extension, sports clothing and proper shoes, no alcohol, no weapons, damage such as spitting or throwing a racket at the glass is chargeable — and it closes by saying that management's decisions are absolute. - Americano a full rotation at 12 players is 11 rounds and the booking holds 6, so you play a slice of it. Fine for an evening, but the standings are a snapshot rather than a complete table.
- Mexicano re-pairs by the standings each round, so the games stay close. 6 rounds is enough for the table to mean something.

Three courts is twelve on court and a ceiling of sixteen. An hour is six rounds to 21 — enough for a Mexicano table to mean something, well short of a twelve-player Americano's eleven rounds.
