Take the access question first, because it decides everything else. Every court price this club publishes is headed "Court Pricing (Members)". There is no non-member court rate on its website or in its booking system, its downloadable waiver is titled "Member Waiver", and the site's only call to action is "Memberships are now available on Playtomic". What is proven is that a non-member can get on court: the club sells public classes at $55 for ninety minutes through Playtomic's academy, with visible prices and open capacity. What is not established is whether you can simply book a court, and at what price. This page will not assert either answer, and neither should a phone call be skipped if it matters — the entry membership is $199 a year and its whole pitch is "paying only when they play", which reads like a discount tier rather than a gate.
The court census is why the singles distinction exists at all. The club's own site: "Two Panoramic Doubles Courts" and "One Singles Court — Dedicated singles court for focused training and competitive one-on-one matches." Its Playtomic configuration agrees court by court, tagging Padel1 and Padel2 as double and panoramic and Padel3 as single. Three indoor courts, two doubles and one singles, and it is the only singles padel court found anywhere in this metro.
There is a trap in the same booking system worth stating plainly. The tenant lists seven bookable resources, not three. The other four are OH! Ping Pong 1 through 4, each filed under the sport "TENNIS" with the features indoor, double and quick. They are table-tennis tables mis-typed, which is why Playtomic advertises this club's available sports as "Padel / Tennis". There are four ping-pong tables and no tennis court, and anyone counting resources would publish seven courts.
Member pricing is per player and the session lengths differ by format, which is a second way to get the arithmetic wrong. On the entry Basic tier at $199 a year, doubles is ninety minutes at $38 a player at peak and $24 off-peak; singles is sixty minutes at $26 and $18. So a Basic member's full doubles court is $152 at peak and $96 off-peak for ninety minutes. Peak is the club's own phrase — "our most in-demand times, including evenings and weekends" — and off-peak is "lower-demand daytime". The dearer tiers change the shape: Flex at $199 a month comes with a matching wallet of play credits and drops doubles to $24.87 a head, Unlimited Non-Peak at $225 a month makes off-peak play unlimited and charges $25 a head at peak, and Elite at $360 a month covers both.
Everything indoor, all three courts, tagged indoor in the booking grid and described by the club as "The first elite indoor padel club on the Main Line". It is a fit-out of a suite in a Lancaster Avenue commercial building — the address carries the unit number — rather than a bubble or a purpose-built hall. The club claims no heating and no climate control, and no ceiling height is published, so none is stated here. There is no season to worry about: no outdoor court exists to close, and the hours are the same seven days a year-round, which is the entire point of an indoor club on the Main Line.
The coached programming is unusually specific about what it teaches. Public classes at $55 for ninety minutes include Wall Clinic Intermediate and Dominates the walls, both about playing off the glass — the shot that tennis and squash converts have never had to hit. There is also a $50 three-hour session and a $75 holiday camp for ages five and up, and class sizes are small at three or four players. Two coaches are named: Jorge Vega and Sandeep Ramachandran. No league or tournament is currently listed, despite two membership tiers promising preferred pricing on them.
The club's positioning is explicitly anti-chain, in its own words: "We are a community-focused, locally owned small business, built by families who live right here in Chester County. Not a franchise. Not part of a national chain." It publishes a three-line philosophy — play with joy, compete with respect, leave with a smile — and pairs "03 Elite Courts" with "24/7 Passion" in its own stat block. A dedicated singles court, four ping-pong tables and a conditioning gym make this a racquet-training room rather than a social club, which is the opposite end of the metro from Ballers.
For planning, count the two doubles courts. They seat eight players with nobody resting and ten at a stretch. A ninety-minute booking leaves eighty playable minutes, which is six rounds at a points target of 32 or ten shorter ones at 21 — and eight players finish a full Americano rotation in seven rounds, so a group of eight can complete one inside a single ninety-minute slot here. That is a genuinely good fit and it is what two courts are for. Add the singles court and the seats go to twelve, but you are then running two different games.
There is one inconsistency to know about before you plan on retail: the Elite tier promises twenty percent off pro-shop purchases, and neither the booking system's facility list nor the website mentions a shop. The same list confirms two absences outright — no cafeteria and no restaurant. There is no food service at this club, which is a real difference from Ballers.
Getting there
271 Lancaster Avenue, Suite 102, in Malvern — Chester County, on the Lancaster Avenue corridor between Paoli and Malvern. About twenty-one miles straight-line from Center City and twenty-five road miles, so thirty-five to forty-five minutes via I-76 and US-30. It is the farthest of the six from downtown and the only one in Chester County.
For a Center City player this is a deliberate trip; for Wayne, Devon, Berwyn and Paoli it is the local club. Free parking is confirmed in the club's own booking configuration, along with lockers and a changing room.
Doors open at 5:30am on weekdays, the earliest in the metro by half an hour, and 6am at weekends and on holidays.
Running a session here
OH! Padel has 3 courts, and a 90-minute booking is the slot to plan around. That fixes almost everything else about the evening.
- Bring 12 to 16 players. 12 is everyone on court every round; past that you are running a sit-out queue, which is fine but somebody has to track it.
- Expect about 6 rounds once you take out warm-up and changeovers — play each to 32 points so every court finishes together and the scores stay comparable.
- At 16 players, 4 people sit out each round. 3 courts tops out at 16 players before the sit-out queue is longer than the court time.
Formats that fit
- Americano a full rotation at 12 players is 11 rounds and the booking holds 6, so you play a slice of it. Fine for an evening, but the standings are a snapshot rather than a complete table.
- Mexicano re-pairs by the standings each round, so the games stay close. 6 rounds is enough for the table to mean something.
- King of the Court winners move up a court, losers move down. Works from 6 rounds on 3 courts.
| Courts | Everyone plays | Up to |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | 4 | 5 |
| 2 | 8 | 10 |
| 3 | 12 | 16 |
Phone before you plan a one-off game. Every court price here is a member price, and there is no published rate for a non-member booking a court — the only priced door in for a stranger is a $55 public class.
Watch the session lengths. Doubles is ninety minutes and singles is sixty, and the per-player prices are quoted against those different windows, so comparing $38 with $26 compares two different amounts of padel.
Two doubles courts is eight seats, and eight players can finish a whole Americano rotation in one ninety-minute booking — seven rounds against the eighty playable minutes' worth of about ten. This is the club in the metro where that actually lands.
The third court is a singles court, so it does not add doubles capacity. Book it for a one-on-one or for drilling; it will not take four.
Bring food and drink. The club's own booking configuration records no cafeteria and no restaurant, and nothing on its site sells either.
Common questions
- Can a non-member book a court at OH! Padel?
- The club does not say. Every court price it publishes is labeled for members, its waiver is a "Member Waiver", and its only booking call to action is about memberships. What is confirmed is that a non-member can play: public classes are sold at $55 for ninety minutes through Playtomic with open capacity. Neither "non-members can book" nor "members only" is established, so call the club if a one-off court is what you need.
- How many courts are there?
- Three indoor courts: two panoramic doubles courts and one dedicated singles court, stated by the club and tagged court by court in its booking system. The singles court is the only one found anywhere in the Philadelphia metro. Note that the same booking tenant lists seven resources — the extra four are ping-pong tables filed under tennis, which is also why Playtomic advertises this club as offering tennis. It does not.
- What do members pay for a court?
- On the entry Basic tier, $199 a year, doubles is $38 a player for ninety minutes at peak and $24 off-peak, and singles is $26 and $18 for sixty minutes. That makes a full doubles court $152 at peak. The monthly tiers are Flex at $199 with a matching wallet of credits, Unlimited Non-Peak at $225, and Elite at $360 with unlimited peak and off-peak play.
- Are the courts heated?
- All three are indoor, tagged indoor in the booking grid and described by the club as the first elite indoor padel club on the Main Line. The club makes no heating or climate-control claim and publishes no ceiling height, so this page states neither. There is no seasonal closure — no outdoor court exists, and the hours are the same year-round.
- Is there food at the club?
- No. The booking system's own facility record marks both cafeteria and restaurant as absent, and nothing on the club's website mentions food service. There is a conditioning gym, which is a membership benefit rather than a drop-in amenity, plus lockers, a changing room and four ping-pong tables.
