The Aurum calls itself a semi-indoor padel venue house in Kota Bogor with three super panoramic FIP-approved courts, and then lists the things that make a venue house rather than a court rental: indoor parking, a proper seating area, cool circulation, an ice tub, lockers and showers. The turf is specified as FIP-approved monofilament, which puts it alongside Padra as the most specified surface in this bucket. Courts 1 and 3 are green, Court 2 is terracotta. Jalan Mandala Raya No 23 in Ciparigi, Bogor Utara, open 06:00 to 22:00, at 4.93 across 20 reviews.

The house rules are four lines and the shortest good set here: be on time with the schedule, start and end; only padel or tennis shoes on court; no eating or drinking inside the court; and last one, have fun and vamos. Prices are Rp131.325, Rp169.000 and Rp199.000 and identical at the weekend — the lowest band priced to the rupiah, which is Ayo's doing rather than the venue's. Nothing is published about cancellation, so confirm that before you collect money.

Getting there

Ciparigi is northern Kota Bogor towards the Sentul side, near Jalan Achmad Adnawijaya and therefore close to Padel Life. Indoor parking is worth naming in a city where it is rare.

Running a session here

The Aurum has 3 courts, and a 60-minute booking is the slot to plan around. That fixes almost everything else about the evening.

  • Bring 12 to 16 players. 12 is everyone on court every round; past that you are running a sit-out queue, which is fine but somebody has to track it.
  • Expect about 6 rounds once you take out warm-up and changeovers — play each to 21 points so every court finishes together and the scores stay comparable.
  • At 16 players, 4 people sit out each round. 3 courts tops out at 16 players before the sit-out queue is longer than the court time.

Formats that fit

  • Americano a full rotation at 12 players is 11 rounds and the booking holds 6, so you play a slice of it. Fine for an evening, but the standings are a snapshot rather than a complete table.
  • Mexicano re-pairs by the standings each round, so the games stay close. 6 rounds is enough for the table to mean something.
  • King of the Court winners move up a court, losers move down. Works from 6 rounds on 3 courts.

If you book fewer courts

Three courts is twelve on court and a ceiling of sixteen, four resting each round at the top. An hour gives six rounds to 21, which is the minimum for a Mexicano table to say anything.

The ice tub is what makes a back-to-back double booking bearable. Take the two-hour slot and use it.

Semi-indoor plus a 22:00 close means the evening slots are the comfortable ones. A 12:00 booking is a different session.
